Ed performs with Taylor Swift at Summertime ball

Ed Sheeran arrived at the Capital Summertime Ball for a surprise duet with his touring partener and best friend Taylor Swift.

During the ‘I knew you were trouble ‘singer’s highly anticipated set, the US superstar teased fans before shocking the 80,000 in attendance at Wembley Stadium by bringing the ‘Lego House’ singer out on stage to huge cheers.

The two then preceded to give a moving performance of their brand new collaboration ‘Everything  has changed’, which is set to be the latest single to be lifted from Taylor’s 2012 album ‘Red’.

Ed defends Taylor Swift again !

Ed Sheeran has once again defended the criticism against Taylor Swift’s self-penned love songs.

The 21-year-old has been supporting the ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ singer on the US and Canadian dates of her ‘Red’ tour since March and it seems he’s having the time of his life revealing that Taylor has acted as the perfect host.

“She’s great to be on tour with, she treats me and the crew very well. I’m really enjoying the tour,” Taylor told HollywoodLife.

Taylor, 23, is renowned for writing songs about her failed romances with high profile stars, with Harry Styles, Taylor Lautner and John Mayer among them, and while some roll their eyes when the pop starlet releases yet another ode to her ex, Ed thinks her ballads are genius.

“I think you sing about what you know. There’s nothing worse than singing a song that has no relevance to you, and all the songs she’s singing have a deep relevance to her,” Ed added. “They’re all personal.”
